Nakia Calhoun

As the CEO and Founder of Prophetic Women Arise Ministry Inc., I am deeply committed to empowering women who are escaping domestic violence. My journey is personal—I am a survivor of domestic violence that nearly cost me my life. At that time, I had three young children, and we courageously sought a fresh start to build a better, safer future. This experience ignited my profound calling to serve, leading me to establish Prophetic Women Arise Ministry Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to supporting women in need. 

Through our organization, we provide essential services, including shelter, education, tutoring, and daycare, to help survivors regain their independence and stability. I am passionate about creating a sanctuary where women find hope and resilience, and I am devoted to building a stronger community for those we serve.
